Lite-Com Pro programmable wireless communication headset

The new Peltor Lite-Com Pro is a communication headset with high-attenuation ear protection and a built-in short range communication radio for integration with industrial or other professional radio communication systems. The noise cancelling microphone is mounted on a new type of boom. Its voice control (VOX) function facilitates hands-free operation, while the push-to-talk (PTT) button makes it possible to communicate in extremely noisy areas or whenever this capability is required.

Programmable

Up to 30 radio channels are programmable in the 430-470 MHz frequency range with Peltor radio software. The selective squelch function with PL (CTCSS) tones or DCS digital codes allows multiple users to work on the same channel without listening to each others’ conversations. Although the headset provides high noise attenuation to protect user hearing, it also allows important ambient noise such as alarms or emergency calls to be picked up. Two external microphones detect these sounds and reproduce them in stereo in the ear protectors.
